In 2019 my husband, my dad & I decided to renovate my childhood duplex home and transform it into two vacation rental properties in PCB, Florida.

That first renovation started as a fun weekend project and has now evolved into a full-blown boutique vacation rental and management company. We are passionate about creating unique beach vacation experiences on the Florida Panhandle and want all our visitors to enjoy the same lifestyle and charm of PCB - that has kept our family living here for over 50 years.

When we first started, I was sourcing as many items as I could from antique and thrift stores to be as cost effective as possible. We lived in the homes, built every piece of furniture, and hung all the wallpaper ourselves. We had so much love surrounding us and the help of some very good friends; paid in cheap tacos and beer. Since the opening of our first rental, our business has evolved as did our family, with the birth of our two girls, but to this day, we make a point of staying in each home as we get it ready for launch to ensure that we are providing everything our guests need. We have been fortunate to have many guests fall in love with their rental experience such that they return and book a different one of our units.
The design and creative process of Pineapple Doors has been one of our favorite aspects of this adventure.
Each of our rentals is one-of-a-kind and has a unique theme so no two units are the same. When I started this there were not a lot of boutique rentals in the area that offered what we were looking for, so we set out to fill this gap. We like our homes to be as close to the beaches as we can get them because that’s the main reason you are coming here. For our white sandy beaches and our crystal-clear water. We want our rentals to be a place of rest and relaxation; a home away from home. From waking up with a yummy cup of coffee to walking to the beach for sunset. Pineapple Doors is the perfect location for your beach getaway.
We want our visitors to be excited to come home every day after exploring all our area has to offer.
In 2022 we received requests from other homeowners wondering if we would take over and manage their property and with that Pineapple Doors Boutique Rentals was born. We have hired an incredible team for management, cleaning, maintenance, and marketing and we are excited to have the opportunity to match up more guests to their perfect boutique vacation rental.
With many plans on the horizon, we look forward to taking you along for the ride! Thank you for taking the time to read about us! PONO'S FAV COOKIES:
@350 12-13min
¾ cup unsalted butter
¾ cup brown sugar
¼ sugar
1 large egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
I cup flour
2 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
6 oz dark chocolate ( we love lilys mini chips)
Beat butter 1-2 mins
Add sugar, combine for 3 mins, add egg, vanilla
Add flour, corn stratch, baking soda, salt, mix until combined
Add chocolate chips, roll into balls, and chill for 30 mins-2hrs
Bake on non stick pan.
